I love the mod 60's feel of this inspiration photo! I instantly wanted to do a fun work look with purple, black and white and this is what I came up with. (Style note: I like that the shirt is ivory and the jacket is white, but my gold watch and silver necklace are bugging me a little bit. :-p) It's not yet Friday, but I decided to kick off TGIF a day early and show some other ways I've worn this striped shirt! Which look is your favorite?

I love that shirt! I actually really like all those outfits, but I'm particularly drawn towards the mustard cardigan/ skinny jeans look and the pink shorts. Obsessed with that turquoise necklace, looked for it last time I made it to an H&M but too late.
ReplyDeleteI like all of these outfits, but I think my favorite is the look with the red skirt. There is just something about a red, black and white combo that does it for me!
ReplyDeleteI love today's look and the shorts and cardigan look! I'm a cardigan girl so anything with a good cardigan strikes my fancy!
ReplyDeleteLove the striped shirt. My fave is the picture with the denim shorts and cognac color cardi. Super cute combo that I never would have put together before.
ReplyDeleteloving this skirt! such a gorgeous color. i wish i could say i was daring enough to purchase colored bottoms...one day maybe :)
ReplyDeleteI love them all!! My fave is with the pink shorts and turquoise necklace!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE they way you wore it with the brown cardigan! :) Black and brown together is so cool. That inspiration photos is amazing! You always find the best inspiration photos to work with.

I love how you styled this shirt in such different ways!! It looks just as cute tucked into skirts as it does left out! I think my favorite version is with the hot pink shorts and turquoise necklace! It pops in such an expected way!
ReplyDeletewith the pink shorts and the tan cardigan (1st and 3rd). cute :)
ReplyDeleteI like the last outfit best with the skinny black pants because I think the blouse looks best untucked. I think because of the seam under the chest and then how the blouse flares out from there makes it not look good tucked in to skirts, shorts, etc. It looks a little messy, but if you love it, then you should rock it.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the look with black pants and green sweater - definitely something I would wear - cute!!
ReplyDeletemy favorite is with the pink shorts

Love it with the pencil skirt! Great job at showing this top's versatility!
ReplyDeleteCan you suggest any good, not super-expensive places to shop in Orlando, other than Mall @ M?
ReplyDeleteCrystal, I love the Florida Mall and the outlets too. I'm the Shopping Insider for the state of Florida (just announced!) so check out my Facebook page for daily tips on shopping in Florida! :-) http://www.facebook.com/VISITFLORIDAShoppingInsider

I love how you use the same pose in every picture. I subconsciously used the same pose while taking a picture while on vacation recently. LOL
ReplyDeleteHaha thanks Ivory! It gets the job done. It never ceases to amaze me how many fashion bloggers seem to have been born models. It's not my strong point. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the two on the right (jean shorts and black pants!) They seem to run smoothly through my eyes!
ReplyDeleteI love the one with the hot pink shorts! Where are those shorts from?
ReplyDeleteThank you! The pink shorts are from Forever 21, you could also try J.Crew they had some in the same color!
ReplyDeleteIm loving 2 for work and 3 for casual/weekend wear! I have issues wearing ivory and white together... I often want to but can't bring myself to do it, but it looks great in the pic up top!
ReplyDeleteI love love love the forth outfit, where did you find the necklace and shoes?
ReplyDeleteThe one with the pea green cardigan? Necklace is from H&M about 4 years ago, and wedges are by Guess. Try Target or Chinese Laundry, both have similar pairs.
ReplyDeletesorry I meant the forth one overall, the third one on the bottom. Thanks though- I love that outfit too!
ReplyDeleteThat necklace is F21, but the chain is really tarnished so I'm trying to find a replacement. Shoes are the Chinese Laundry Undercover.
