Today's Everyday Fashion: Guest Post
This is a guest post while J is away on vacation. Check out Ty's blog, Words and Wardrobes!
I was dying over this $325 DVF shirt dress last fall (left) but because it's out of my budget, I re-created the look for only $20 ($5 for the skirt and $15 for the shirt). I accessorized with shoes ($30), a vintage bag ($2), earrings ($1), a chunky wooden bracelet ($10), and a ring ($4)!
Inspiration photo: DVF
Skirt: Goodwill
Top: Warchild Vintage via Etsy
Shoes: Urban Original
Handbag: Vintage
Ring: Forever 21
Bracelet: Mall accessories store
Earrings: Gold Beauty Supply
Aviators: Payless

It provides some level of comfort that there are other women out there like me. :-) You go girl!

this is such a gutsy and fabulous combination! Well done - you look amazing!
ReplyDeleteWOW this is a great interpretation of this lovely DVF 2-tiered dress. I love it, this girl did a great job interpreting the look and at a phenomenal price under 70$. I see the vintage retro look behind this but I also see how it is modern, elegant and very much perfect for 2011 with the full floral, A-Line skirt and the gorgeous heels. I love the girl's hair, too.
