Today's Everyday Fashion: Blue Door Boutique


I've had a sequin t-shirt on my wish list for awhile now. I loved the one Carrie Underwood wore on American Idol (pic above) and I love the idea of wearing my usual uniform (short shorts and a looser shirt) for a night out with a fun twist! I was very excited to order this one from The Blue Door Boutique, an adorable boutique in Georgia that you can also shop online. Their items often sell out within a few days so this top is no longer available, but I ordered a size S and the quality is fantastic - it's a very thick shirt that almost feels like you are wearing the top half of a special occasion dress because of the fancy lining and craftmanship. Are you planning on rocking the sequin shirt trend this year?

    I am in LOVE with sequin tops! I actually bought one a few years ago and never felt comfortable wearing it until recently. So glad its trendy right now!

    OH YES!!! I have a blush colored sequined tank that I got a few years ago from Ann Taylor Loft AND scored a sweet deal at my local Ross for a hot pink sequined tank for $10! Perfect under a cardigan because the sequined chafe my arms...haha!!

    I am in love head to toe, with this look, Jeanette. One of your top 10 looks for 2011 Hands Down! I purchased a beautiful off-white, ivory, sequined top early fall this year which is a little loose-fitting and would look great off-the-shoulders, too. I have yet to wear it. I need another all-over sequined top, would like a black one and a gold one, perhaps a silver one as well.
