Flashback Friday: The Lace Shirt
Lace may seem like a trend that's not for everyone, but I think it can be really versatile. You can wear lace and be rock-n-roll (adding this to my to-do list), you can wear lace to the office (below), or you can wear lace and be preppy (like in today's look, above)! It's all in how you accessorize.
Tell me - how do you wear lace? Which look is your favorite?

I'm always so impressed with how close you match the inspiration photos -or- even exceed the chic-ness of the inspiration photo with your own personal touches!

Love that shirt! It is so versatile and literally completes a different outfit everytime...great job :)
ReplyDeleteJ,
ReplyDeleteI have noticed you have had a lot of different purses by It's In The Bag. Do you own all of these different purses? (the green, orange and camel???)
Just wondering...because I have added a few to my wish list and just wanted to know which ones you prefer over the other.
Thanks,
Stephanie
I really like all of your looks. It's too hard to pick!
ReplyDeleteI wear my creme colored lace top with army green cargo skinnies and black heels. It's kind of a military/feminine look.

I have one dress with lace in my whole wardrobe and it's so scandalous, I usually reserve it for nights at the club...... which happen like twice a year. You have inspired me to get some lace into my life STAT!
ReplyDeleteI die for your legs!!!

It's hard to pick! I really like the casual look with the shorts, I never would've thought of that. It could be those shoes too, love them!
ReplyDeleteCathy, I'm adding that to my list. You can wear lace... and be scandalous! ;-)
ReplyDeleteStephanie, I have the three you listed and I think my life is complete now (although, I really want a turquoise clutch at some point). I love allllll of them, would be really hard to choose. So far I have found the orange one really versatile though, I probably get the most use out of it. I love the green one, but it has silver hardware which is not my favorite (I prefer gold). The brown one is nice and big and perfect for traveling. The other two are pretty small and good for running errands when you don't need to take much with you! All 3 have cross-body straps which I find essential!
ReplyDeleteAw, I love the first look! Pairs well with the bag and shorts.
ReplyDeleteI was wearing a v-neck tee and shorts similar to the post, but as soon as I saw this I literally jumped up to change into my lace top, lol! Love this look and I will be rockin' my wedges too. Thanks for the inspiration and reminder of what's in my closet.
ReplyDeletemy fav is with the shorts
ReplyDeletelove the bag in the first pic!

I love all of your outfits...as usual. :) Now I need to go find me a lace top. I love it (since seeing how you've styled it).
ReplyDeleteI have a white lace maxi length skirt that I've never worn. Any ideas on how I should style it?
That looks so cute! I love it with shorts!
ReplyDeleteYour skirt sounds amazing! I would do an army vibe, with an olive button down and some lace up boots. Or a denim button down shirt with a low slouchy belt. In the summer you could do some metallic flats, simple tank and long necklaces. You could also try a monochromatic look with a lace top, similar to my work look above!
ReplyDeleteGreat look! Love the lace!

My favorite is the middle photo with the lace top and the green military style jacket. I like the mix of ladylike lace and the edgy ripped jeans.

Love the look with the denim shorts!
ReplyDeleteYou are so creative with mixing and matching. I have a lot to learn from you! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the lace trend! I actually just did a post on my blog! I think I like the jean shorts with it, and the grey blazer and white pencil skirt the best! I like your advice on this blog! New follower, definitely!
