I love Valentine's Day and the past two years my v-day posts have been full of pink and red! (See here.) This year I decided to mix it up a little. I will be wearing this leopard + hot pink ensemble (still undecided on shoes), and I'm also really digging the graphic heart trend, via shopping picks below. What are you wearing on Valentine's Day?
Dress: Hazel and Olive c/o, $39
Necklace: Limited, $20
Pumps: Colin Stuart c/o MJR Sales, $24 (similar)
Bracelets: My Stella & Dot website 1, 2, 3, 4, 5Rings: My Stella & Dot website 1, 2

Love the dress and the heart trend. I'm a teacher, so for some Valentine's day fun at school I'm wearing a pullover from F21 with a big pink sequined heart on the front! :) http://www.forever21.com/Product/Product.aspx?Br=F21&Category=top&ProductID=2000050173&VariantID=
ReplyDeleteCute combo, love it! ♥

I love dresses that have open backs. It's sexy without showing a lot.
ReplyDeleteThat's a really cute dress! I'm thinking of going with a classic black dress. But that could change!

love the leopard and pink! it's a spicy way to celebrate v-day!

You are too cute! Love the dress on you!
ReplyDeleteI like the concept of not using any hearts in the outfit but it still matches the Valentine's theme. I'll probably wear a sweater or a top with hearts on it.

ReplyDeleteThat is the best Valentine's Day outfit I have seen yet, I am obsessed with that dress, too cute!

Really cute! Love the pink and leopard ! The black shoes are perfect!
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is just *so* chic and streamlined, J.!! Yesterday was my and my husband's Wedding Anniversary; so we're going out to celebrate~~with dinner first~~this evening!! Earlier today, he just happened to see me looking at YOUR *Special* Valentine's Day Outfit on the computer; so I told him that (some of) your Commenters are "divided about" your wearing, or not wearing, your (Limited) Hot Neon-Pink Necklace with rhinestone accents. Anyway, his always-to-the-point (haha!!) "Guy" Comment was, "I think she looks *great*. What's she going to be doing while she's wearing the dress?" When I told him that you'd probably first be going out to dinner, TOO; he said, "I think she then SHOULD wear the pink necklace, because if she just wears the pink belt............ her date won't 'see any pink,' i.e., while they're both sitting down at dinner." (So, there, haha!!)
ReplyDeleteI wonder how your (Limited) pale metallic-gold belt; and your (Colin Stuart) Ankle-Strap Sandals, Above, would look *paired together again*, i.e., as in your blogposts of 3/12/12; 3/24/12;
and 4/24/12??:

(Maybe the *p.a.l.e.* metallic-gold of the belt would subtly highlight the goldtone chain of your necklace; and also the gold ankle straps/heels of your sandals, too??)
Love that leopard print dress! You look great!

I never dress up for Valentines day... the most I ever do is paint my nails either red or pink haha. Just not the holiday for me (though being single probably has a lot to do with it!)! :)

That dress is adorable! Love the pops of pink that you added. And if you're deciding on which shoes, I vote for the pumps over the strappy sandals.

It looks a little too "young." I think something a bit more mature would be better, like a classic sheath dress or maybe a pencil skirt and a blouse.
ReplyDeleteLove the look...but a little longer skirt line would be much better.....
ReplyDeleteI love the leopard and pink together. Great combo!
ReplyDeleteWow, that dress is absolutely stunning!

This outfit is soooooo cute, as everyone else has stated. How would you wear it if you felt it was too short (a dressy look)? I don't think I could feel comfortable in the length and maybe leggings are too casual?
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is to young and unsophisticated for a woman your age. Youth looks much better with a touch more glamour and less flash.
ReplyDeleteSteph, I would add black tights and black pumps or booties!
ReplyDeleteLove the idea of pink shoes! I tried that first, but had to remove one pink thing (3 was too many) and the shoes got the boot. ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh, I LOVE that dress!!! So cute!
