I loved the pattern top paired with bright colors in the inspiration photo. Since the picture doesn't show the rest of the outfit, my imagination was full of possibilities for the bottom half. Black jeans, yellow shoes? White jeans, pink shoes? Or, what I wound up wearing, dark denim and turquoise shoes. How would you finish this outfit?

To make this outfit my own I'd probably wear a blazer instead of the cardi and instead of mustard I think it would look great with a nice spring color!!

I love how you finished the outfit. The blue heels are gorgeous. I think a pencil skirt in a bright color would be fun too.

Super-cute outfit!! I love how your mustard cardigan seems to highlight only the *outer* yellow stones of your necklace............ leaving The *Rainbow*-Colored CENTER "visually intact," (i.e., as a rainbow)!!
ReplyDeleteGiven that little thought, for a Springtime work outfit, maybe then (?) your mustard heels and a *neutral white* pencil skirt would also look nice, too............ and for a Fall/Winter work outfit, maybe then (?) your mustard heels and a *neutral black* pencil skirt............ i.e., all in an effort to keep The *Rainbow*-Colored CENTER~~of the necklace~~"visually intact," as a rainbow!! Neckline is important with the necklace. Love this look, but I would go with a boat neck or scoop neck top with the necklace like inspiration photo and then this would be absolutely perfect!!!!!
