Today's look contains so many of my favorite trends - mint, lace, winter white and chunky necklaces, to name a few. It's also a blending of new purchases (jeans and shoes) and old (coat and shirt). What are your favorite trends this winter? Would you wear a lace top?

My current obsession is colored denim. Someone asked me how many pair I owned and I had to think about it. 12 pair! I would definitely say the colored denim trend is my favorite, lol. The lace top is so pretty paired with the mint green. Heather
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful! Love this combo on you! =)

I love the versatility of the chambray top. I pair it with anything, from a skirt, to a pair of colored jeans, to leggings. I have about 5 of them! I would DEFINITELY wear a lace top. The one I have is black and baggy and falls off the shoulder. It's my favorite thing to wear with leggings and boots. I love the mint jeans!
ReplyDeleteLove the color scheme here! I'm definitely going to give this look a try :)

I love the chunkier laces coming out. And, of course, the colored jeans. I have my eye on a couple pairs in mint and coral this spring!

I love that top, it reminds me of a Joie one.

I like it! Lace is so lady like. Classic. And the mint adds color and fun.
ReplyDeleteSome of my favorite trends, too!
ReplyDeleteI am not lovin the lace look I guess. Plus, all I think about is "it itches" :) I do enjoy the colored jeans on others but have only managed to put myself in a dk red, burnt orange, and black w/ printed muted snakeskin. I do have light aqua on my list next though.
ReplyDeleteThis is GORGEOUS...and so fresh looking, love it!
ReplyDeleteyou're spot on trend here and it looks lovely. got me excited for spring!

This look is such a fresh take on winter-wear! I especially like the scalloped details of the shirt.
ReplyDeleteLOVE this look! Simply beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love lace tops. They're so feminine, crisp, and beautiful!

What size are those jeans?! (if you don't mind my asking) I love them!
ReplyDeleteeatpraywearlove.blogspot.com
Thanks Leah! 26, same size I would get at Gap (for example).
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love your lace top and your outfit. I'm not sure I get away with wearing mint colored jeans but i love them on you.

Am I the only one thinking 'forget the lace top, look at those mint jeans'?? Okay, so the whole outfit is awesome, but this pregnant chick can't wait to fit in cute clothes again!!!
ReplyDeletelove a lace top so much so I have 5 - two black and 3 white!! I'm always drawn to them! Love the mint jeans!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! I HAVE to order these, because for some crazy reason there is no Forever 21 in my town!! :)
ReplyDeleteI have a lace top that is so versatile. It works great with pants or a skirt, or even over a dress! I wish I could wear a white coat -- I think I'd be so fearful of getting it dirty the whole time I wouldn't fully appreciate it.

I'm a statement necklace girl, but I have yet to get in on the colored jean trend. I really want to, but I keep thinking about black ones (which don't really qualify as a color). Do you have a recommendation of a starting color? I have olive toned skin and dark brown hair. I trust your opinion :-) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteA good baby step is cobalt or similar shade - because really they are blue like any "regular" denim. :-) If that's not your fancy, then I would go with your favorite color. If you are drawn to it and like it, you will figure out ways to wear it!
ReplyDeleteFavorite trends: leather, jeans in various colors, monochromatic white and I'm loving the new color of the year!!

I love these lace tops! I have one that I really like, but the fit is a bit boxy so I'm trying to figure out how to style it better. Do you read http://www.thesmallthingsblog.com? She has an awesome look with a white lace top today too:)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, J. Love, love, love, love, love this look!!! SO adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the look! I need a little 'edge' with my lace, so I would probably swap the coat for a moto jacket in a similar shade.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the great work!

I love your mint jeans! Such a cute look!
ReplyDeleteOne of the best outfits this year! I love the girly feel this outfit has a today with the cream and pastel. Plus the lace top is all adorable!I would definitely wear a lace tope because it's really easy to wear and can be layered and worn with colored pants easily.

That jacket is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to put the trends together! I've been wearing lace shirts this season, but my favorite trend would have to be leopard print. I'm having a giveaway for a chunky necklace on my blog right now!:)

Did you get that top recently? I LOVE LOVE it. :)
ReplyDeleteThose mint jeans sold out of my Forever 21 so fast! Love this outfit. Great spring transition too!
ReplyDeleteLove this whole outfit. I need to get a lace shirt like that. I'm obsessed now. Of course mint is always a favorite!

ahhhh the mint skinnies! i havent worn mine yet :-/ mostly because I want to wear them with flats and all I ever wear in public are boots bc its so cold.
ReplyDeleteI'm a little over the lace trend. Idk its everywhere and it all looks the same. I do like your lace top though because it's a little more unique than what I see everywhere. I was also eyeing that final lace top you posted from F21 but looks poorly made online or like it would snag in a second.
I'm also over peplum. It doesn't flatter 80% of the girls I see wearing it.
I'm loving boots, chevrons, polka dots, chunky cozy sweaters, stars, emerald, and cobalt.
cobalt! or purple. I was very colored skinnies-averse because I thought they would be very unflattering to my thighs. turns out i just had to find the right fit. and dark always helps but that's no fun.
ReplyDeleteladylike and pretty. love the pants, top and necklace.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I also really like solid white----worn under sheer white lace----it looks like you're maybe (?) wearing a pale BEIGE cami (or tank) underneath your sheer white lace top here, which very subtly............ gives elegant definition............ TO *The Pretty Pattern Of The Lace*............ i.e., more than a solid WHITE cami (or tank) seems to do, i.e., when worn underneath sheer lace!!
ReplyDelete'Just a really *gorgeous*............ mint and white-(TEXTURED) outfit, J.!!
The outfit really does look great on you. Quite ethereal looking!
ReplyDeleteLove this look! I think it may be my favorite. So happy you finally found your mint jeans!

ReplyDeleteI would definitely rock a lace top. Your is so cute!
ReplyDeletedancingwithashley.blogspot.com
So elegant and classy, love that shade of green.
ReplyDeleteLOVE. I need a lace top, though it's definitely too cold to wear one here until at least May. I'm crushing on the ASOS one, but all the options are pretty cute.
ReplyDeleteLoft has a beautiful cream crochet top at the moment , it's very pretty ... it also comes in Navy :) Great Post & outfit as usual.
ReplyDelete**New post with my 1st YouTube OOTD just went up on my blog...please check it out :)**
I adore this look! The lace and mint are just lovely and feel perfect for winter or spring!
ReplyDeletelove all the lace tops!
