It already feels like summer here in Orlando, so this is my last winter outfit on the blog! Winter, I'm officially kissing you goodbye. :-) You may recall I didn't love the first way I styled this vest (I called it "The Wookie") but surprisingly, I like this second take on it - with it layered over a blazer in a work look! Is it officially spring where you live yet? Would you wear a fur vest over a blazer to work?

Love this! Never thought of pair my faux fur over a blazer! Great style!
ReplyDeleteWow I like fur vest over blazer! Here in Italy it's spring time :-) in the morning the temperature is low so this kind of combination is very useful ! Thank you again for inspiration
ReplyDeleteI like the way it looks in your picture. However, I think in person I would still feel a little wookie-ish. I'm moderately large busted and the added outer layer would probably not be too flattering. Love both the inspiration and your photo looks though!
ReplyDeleteOoh, I really love this look! I love them worn over coats, but I never thought of wearing it over a blazer. I'm not sure I would wear it to work in an office, but if I was working back in retail again, I would wear it for sure! Yes, it is finally spring here and I am soooo excited! Already painting my nails in spring colors and so excited about that!!! Still hoping to get a pair of mint colored skinny jeans before they are sold out everywhere!!! Lol!!! xo

Its spring already here in Wisconsin. It was 74 yesterday. I have been wearing blazers as my "coat". Works great! I will copy this look - the vest. Thanks for sharing!

It has been so nice here too! It's funny - this morning I saw my fur vest hanging and I thought to myself 'bye bye fur vest - see ya next winter' .. I love the look you did with the fur over your jacket - I would totally do that. Happy Thursday.

LOL Whitney, no I'm not going anywhere!
ReplyDeleteIt is definitely feels like spring in Chicago! I have already worn a floral dress and broke out some cropped pants.
ReplyDeleteLove the fur vest I would definitely wear it over a blazer!
I think it's a cute idea, though I know I would get way too hot wearing it all day! Love the outfit on you, but at first it was strange to see you in dress pants as you're always rocking pencil skirts :)
ReplyDeleteLooks really good! I did a similar look with my Rachel Roy vest here:

Love the dress pants. They are a great good to when you are living in the colder climates. Sadly, they aren't as popular as they once were.

I love your pants, the fit is perfect.
ReplyDeleteThe vest definitely adds something to the outfit! Otherwise it would just be a blah gray and black combo.
ReplyDeleteApparently winter has left Chicago, too! Not going to complain.
