I love the monochromatic blues! It's interesting that most of the elements of these outfits are solid colors (only a few patterned pieces scattered here and there), but they're still fun and exciting. Love the colorblocking!
ReplyDeleteThese are great ideas..thank you! My favorite is the red and pink! Beautiful and feminine :)
ReplyDeleteI love how you inspired me to mix colors together that I never would have! I wore blue/camel/mustard the other day. Everyone told me how good it looked. Thanks, J!
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOOOOOVE this post!!
ReplyDeleteMy fave is red+pink & the primaries (but I do love the camel+blue as well).
Love seeing all the color combos you have put together. I'm a fan of blue and green combinations, but red and pink are a close second.
ReplyDeleteI've been such a black and brown girl for too long, and reading your blog has inspired me to step out of my box and mix in the colors. I still have a long ways to go, but thank you for all of your inspiration. My favorite combo is the Camel and Blue (again, I love brown), but I need to give the other combos a try because they look great and I need to keep challenging myself. Great outfit combos!
ReplyDeleteLove the camel and blue!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love Red & the primary colors...BUT... I LOVE the Camel & Blue!
ReplyDeleteAll are awesome but my favorite happens to be the first one, Primary colors!! It is a deadly combo!! Love the Monochromatic blues and Yellow and green too!!
ReplyDeleteBut if you tell me to pick my least fav one, it is going to be the Camel and blue, which, I can clearly see, is the most popular one!! I am so weird, don't you think so??
So many great looks here! Color is just so much fun :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE this post! So helpful, thank you! I love all the combos, but am drawn to the pink/red and the camel/blue. I am definitely trying to incorporate colour into my often drab colour palette (black/navy/brown/grey...boooring) and this is such a useful tool for me. Thanks again! :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE this post!! I'm really feeling the yellow and green combos and the monochromatic blues! Is it spring time yet??
ReplyDeleteI agree with everyone else, your blog is awesome and you give me so many ideas for outfits. Great job!
ReplyDeleteI especially love the green and yellow combos because it's less expected!
ReplyDeletecamel + blue & yellow + blue, are my favorite! i'm always afraid to wear red + pink in fear of looking like Valentines Day
ReplyDeletethis post is AMAZING!! love the all the colors.
ReplyDeleteI really like the red & pink combo. I'll have to give it a try. I love your style!!

You always help me find more ways to use my closet! Although I have seen most of these outfits from previous posts, organizing them by color group gave me a whole new perspective. Thank you for keeping my closet interesting, J!
ReplyDeleteLOL no, you are not weird! I love hearing how people interpret art/fashion differently. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love, the yellow & green combos. Actually wore something very similar to your latest yellow & green look this week! I don't think the colors would look as good on me, but you look fantastic in the camel/blue combos as well!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the post .It's a great help for every day women who juggle jobs, husbands akn kids.
ReplyDeleteWhich color combos are my favorite and least favorite?............ How can I choose which part of the *R.A.I.N.B.O.W.* I like best??!! (Haha!!) I'm wearing more color now (thanks to dear you, J.!!); but I honestly wish I would've STARTED Living A More-Colorful Life----(i.e., simply with my CHOICE of clothing colors!!)----a loooong time ago, because wearing beautiful, tasteful color combinations, (e.g., like you always style, Above), is REALLY like "Color Therapy" for your............ *heart*............ and *mind*............ and *soul*!! 'Makes ME feel good ~~~ 'Makes everyone AROUND me feel good, too!!
ReplyDeletei absolutely love these types of posts, what great inspiration. i especially love camel + blue!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this post! Such great inspiration! Particularly loving the cobalt blues and came/blue combos. Will save this for future reference.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving chartreuse and gray right now. The sorta yellow/greenish neon color with a neutral is sooo this spring :-)
ReplyDeleteYou can wear color SO well, I wish I could rock the oranges and yellows but with my red hair it just seems to look silly. You have so much color in your wardrobe, I'm jealous :) thanks for the inspiration constantly! xoxo

WOW, I just found your blog tonight and am so inspired! I love color as well, but have a hard time knowing how to make it work. I love everything above. The red/pink is my least favorite, for myself, but you wear it well. Thank you for your tips and time you give us!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Lisa and welcome to the blog! :-)
ReplyDeleteAfter accidently stumbling upon your blog three days ago, I find myself coming back again...and again...and again! Unlike so many other fashion blogs where you barely see the same pieces twice, you do a great job of showing how to make the most of your closet. It's inspired me to look at my own pieces in a whole new way. You making looking great so much more accessible. Keep it coming!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the kind words and feedback! I appreciate it and I'm so glad you enjoy the blog! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love your blog!!! When I am lacking style ideas, I come to your site. :)
ReplyDeleteFix and dye your hair. Also get better photography skills. photos are horrid with your flash.

ReplyDeleteThank you Tia! :-)
ReplyDeleteyou are one awesome girl
ReplyDeleteI wish you could come to my apartment and put together outfits for me so that I don't to put forth the effort. Also telling if I am missing any essentials from my closet!!! Also I have this teal skirt and I feel like nothing goes with is. Color suggestions?
ReplyDeleteI did the same thing.
ReplyDeleteThanks Megan!! Feel free to post a picture or a link to the skirt on my Facebook wall so we can brainstorm some ideas for you! I need to see the exact color of teal! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love thre red wedge shoes you have on in the primary color pictures. Could you tell where you go them? I also like the skirt in the green yellow set of picture forth picture. Where did you get it? I would also like so advise I am in my late fourties and a little over wieght (in the tummy),T'm high waisted, and have no hips or butt, and 5'6 inches tall. What type of skirt should I look for? Thanks for any advise. Deanna
ReplyDeleteThe red wedges are from Express last year, and the olive skirt with flaps is from H&M a couple years ago. It's tough to give body shape advice online, but I would suggest going to a store and trying on every shape skirt you can find - a pencil, high waist, a-line, full, etc., and snap a photo in the dressing room mirror (or have a friend do it). You'll be able to tell which shape(s) you love, so you can look for those styles going forward!
ReplyDeleteWOW! You are so good! I just shared your site on my Pinterest. Thank you so much for doing this for all us who are still trying to learn. You make even me feel like this is doable!
ReplyDeleteThanks Rachel!
ReplyDeleteTo my surprise, I really like the primary color combo! It's almost a bit nautical (which I love). Thanks for the inspiration! Your blog is fabulous, btw.....
