Sometimes you find inspiration in the quirkiest of places, like your college football colors. Who says orange and purple don't go together? When I saw this orange and white dress with purple tights in a Lucky magazine article, I knew I had to recreate the look with my orange and white BR dress! Plus, since I am a huge Clemson Tiger fan (and grad!) this look was perfect for a football game. Go Tigers!
Who is your favorite college football team and would you wear their colors together?

Love this look, although I am not quite brave enough to wear such bold colored tights. Our college team is The Ohio State Buckeyes, so I would definitely wear scarlet and gray!

Great Outfit!!!

What a fun tailgate look!
ReplyDeleteIt's a cute look (the purple and orange is fun and quirky), but I wouldn't wear this to a football game. High heels are completely inappropriate for sporting events.
ReplyDeleteAs far as wearing my team colors in an outfit, I'd definitely do that. I'm a Tar Heel -- sky blue and navy is a great combo!
Gators! Orange and blue is so hard!
ReplyDeleteI love the dress... super cute and vintage like !!
ReplyDeletecute outfit! xxx
ReplyDeletenice outfit, but I like to see more realistic, everyday outfits like J's.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the lovely comments everyone! The outfit was actually just for tailgating, so we didn't do much walking around :) Otherwise I would have definitely worn flats!

What is unrealistic about tights and a dress? Just curious :)
ReplyDeleteWe were just tailgating, otherwise I would have definitely worn different shoes :) Go Tarheels! Except when they play the Tigers of course!
ReplyDeleteGood thing colorblocking is in this season, makes it even easier to dress in our face team colors!
ReplyDeleteGo Clemson!
ReplyDeleteAs for the comment about high heels worn to a football game, I would have agreed with you 6 years ago. Then I went to Clemson for my undergrad and was welcomed into the world of southern football. This outfit is completely appropriate and so cute!
Scarlet and grey are very nice together! Go Buckeyes!
ReplyDeleteAh, tailgating is a different thing. Great choice, then!
ReplyDelete:) Go Tigers! Southern football (especially Clemson, IMO) is a whole different world for sure...and I love it!
ReplyDeleterally great look. love the heels!
ReplyDeleteIt looks cute on you! However, I would never wear this to a football game. Every time I see women at football games wearing heels, a skirt, a dress, or the like, I have to roll my eyes. It's a football game for goodness sake! That calls for something more along the lines of a jersey, jeans, and tennis shoes. Just my opinion... :-)
ReplyDeleteinspiring post. these outfit really inspired me lot. will surely gives that dress a try.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty, Michelle! I love how you used contrast colors and pulled out the red in the dress through the heels! Very nicely pulled together and perfect tailgate outfit!

UGA! It's easy to find cute outfits in red and black! And Georgia girls always wear dresses to the games!
