Today's Everyday Fashion: GalTime TV
Occasion: Shooting a TV segment
Dress: c/o Varga Store, $44
Necklace: J's Stella & Dot Website
Shoes: Banana Republic, $22
Watch: Michael Kors, family gift
Bracelets: Forever 21, $8
This morning I headed to the Daily Buzz studios where I shot my first how-to fashion segment! (You may recall that I've been on the news before, but this is my first time doing a how-to!) We talked about how to conceal four different problem areas, complete with props and photos. I wore my new pale pink Varga dress and my favorite Stella & Dot necklace (part of the new fall line, and absolutely the prettiest statement necklace I've ever seen in my life!).
You can watch the segments tomorrow on the Daily Buzz nationally from 6-7am. Find out where it airs on your local TV by going here. In addition, if you live in Orlando you can also watch the segments on GalTime TV this Saturday at 10am on Central Florida's 27 (WRDQ).

You look really great for your TV appearance. What a score on your Banana Republic heels! Is this a recent purchase? I would love a new pair of nude heels, especially at that price.

Thank you! I bought these heels in the day-after-Christmas sales two winters ago. Definitely one of my best finds ever!
ReplyDeleteFabulous outfit! I love that dress! You always look so professional and put together! That is a great price for heels! I am loving nude heels right now!
ReplyDeletewhat size are you wearing? I love this dress, i just don't know what size to order
ReplyDeleteThanks Sam, I'm wearing a size S. I'm 5'7" and a size 2 in dresses at stores like Gap if that helps!
ReplyDeleteI adore that dress--you look perfect! I wish it came in an XS because I would totally order it!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your appearance! I'm going to look for it! :)
This is one of my favorite outfits of yours by far! I love seeing how you use statement necklaces. I have a few but I feel like I don't use them enough because I'm afraid of busy necklines or overkill. You've given me lots of ideas! Also love love the heels, I wish they were more recent. Now I'll have to go searching for a good deal of my own...

Thanks Jennifer! I'm definitely in love with statement necklaces. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of nude pumps posted on Shop J's Closet that I love, this might help get you started! Very cute outfit. It looks nice on you (and looks better than the color blocked outfit worn by whom I assume is the host....green and yellow are just too bold to be paired together like that). The pink looks good with your skin tone. :)

I loved her outfit! I honestly can't get enough color blocking and oddly enough I just got a skirt in a similar green color haha. :-)
ReplyDeleteLia, I absolutely will do that! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteLol. The green isn't what I have the issue with. It's the yellow it's paired with. Maybe it's just because those were my school colors and I hated them then also! After four years of it, I guess the color combo just got old. And I'm sure the green skirt is nice :)
ReplyDeleteI love the necklace too! I would get it right now, but I'm having a hard time justifying that expensive price. Is that two of your monthly clothing and accessories budget right there?
ReplyDeleteAnna, I am a Stella & Dot Stylist now so I earn free jewelry. My budget was $250/month for years (it's $100 since I lost my job in October). I definitely would have spent the money on it when I had my old budget though! It's amazing in person. If you want we can talk about doing an online trunk show for you where you can earn free jewelry!
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is fabulous! I love that you combined a pale pink dress and nude heels. The necklace is gorgeous. I've always loved Stella & Dot. I'm going to have to watch your how-to.
ReplyDeleteHow cool it must be to be on TV! I love this look! You look stunning!

ReplyDeleteCheck out my post on the "secrets of shopping at Banana Republic." I bought these shoes in the day-after-Christmas sale two winters ago. One of the best kept secrets in budget shopping! http://www.jseverydayfashion.com/2011/04/todays-everyday-fashion-secrets-of.html
ReplyDeleteThank you! I freaked out when I saw it on TV this morning. National TV!!! Whoa. I'm still in shock I think haha.
ReplyDeleteLina, I think you are going to love this dress in person!! And you are SO SWEET to think of me and use my link. I don't make any $ on the sale of the dress BUT I think it's amazing that you thought of me. Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteThis is so exciting! I'm going to try to find out where this is on in my town!
ReplyDeleteWell I went through shopjcloset, not the link on here - sorry for the confusion! So I hope you do get some compensation! I'm so excited to get the dress in! Thanks again!! :)
ReplyDeletePS - What do you think about these necklaces to pair with the dress? Love the Stella & Dot, but I can't afford that right now.
