I'm blogging live today from the Central Florida Blogger Conference! (I literally just snapped this photo.) I'm speaking at two sessions today and public speaking is one of my absolute favorite things so I wasn't nervous. That is... until I showed up and realized that there are at least a hundred people here, and I have to use a microphone. Now I'm nervous. :-) Wish me luck!!

I give presentations all the time for work so they don't bother me but anytime they hook me up to a mic, I definitely get a few butterflies! good luck!

I recognize that dress - almost bought it at BR, but it didn't quite fit me right. So cute on you - love the bright blue!!
ReplyDeleteOh god, I totally understand. I was a rep a few years ago, and I hated that. Although I did it a hundred times, I still had the same fear everytime. Good luck! Nice outfit, very business like.
ReplyDeleteI'm dying to go to one!! Love this color combo!!

I bought that Banana dress and splashed some water on it (when I was brushing my teeth) right before I left the house and had to change because the water spots didn't go away when they dried. Weird question... But have you washed the dress yet? Does it do anything else weird? :)
ReplyDeleteKristin, I had the same thing happen to me at the blogger conference! There was a big water spot but when I dabbed it with some water again, it went away. *whew* I'm planning on hand washing it tomorrow - I will let you know how it goes!
ReplyDeleteI bought this dress and was looking for a way to wear it to work, this is great, thanks! Do you have a suggestion for other colors to wear with it? I'm having a hard time finding a brownish cardigan in stores now.
ReplyDeleteTiffany, I think the color of this dress is really versatile. For cardigans you could do mustard, pea green, neon green, royal blue and black. I also think a white blazer or camel leather jacket would look good over it. And I love the idea of incorporating some other colors into jewelry or a belt like hot pink, green and yellow!
ReplyDeleteKristin, I hand washed the dress and as far as I can tell it looks great! It's pretty wrinkled (typical with hand washing) but there are no water spots (yay!).
