Today's Everyday Fashion: Confectionery Creation
This look makes me want to eat cupcakes and drink pink champagne! I love the soft femininity, and yet it's professional enough for work. Sprinkles, anyone? :-)
Styling tips: One of my favorite thing about J.Crew looks is their continual use of over-sized, crystal jewelry. Don't be afraid to pile on some gorgeous necklaces with any look for an instant update to your outfit!

I really love the concept of your blog and how you make magazine/runway inspirations a literal reality. I featured your site on my miscellaneous monday post last week and have gotten so much great (and thankful) feedback from my readers having the same reaction as me to discovering your blog. I'm sure creating these outfits is not always easy, so I just wanted you to know that your efforts are appreciated!
ReplyDeleteCan I just say I absolutely LOVE your blog!! I just started one of my own last week { http://thecardiqueen.blogspot.com } and yours is so inspirational. I've been working on shopping on a budget and your "Online Shopping Guide" is amazing!! :)

ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful. I love the colors and femininity of this outfit. I think this is one of my favorite outfits. Thanks for the styling tip about necklaces. I love wearing jewelry but never put necklaces together. I will have to try that soon. I used one of your outfits as inspiration today on my blog. You always have such great style.
ReplyDeleteI love these colors! They look like that princess from Candy Land. I wish I was tan so I could pull off a white skirt!

I am so glad to see this combination. I have a top that color and a sweater that color, but would never have thought to wear them together - it's spring so I just figured out my outfit for the day - althought I may wear it tomorrow since it is Cinco de Mayo. I always love seeing fresh inspiration, like pairing kiwis and strawberries for Cinco de Mayo Mexican flag colors versus the blueberries and strawberries for the American flag.
ReplyDeleteThis is a stunning color combo! So fresh and pretty for spring. Love it.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you already have, but if not, you should do one of your Friday Flash backs on White Skirts and White Pants - which you seem to wear with a lot of things. Also maybe an article on your favorite pieces from your wardrobe that you go to again and again. I recently lost 30 pounds - yeah! - and in the excitement of being smaller bought just about anything that fit the new me. Then when I went to try and mix together outfits, a lot of the pieces just did not work well together. I am sure a lot of women have "mistakes" hanging in their closets, so a refresher class on wardrobe essentials 101 might be nice.
ReplyDeleteThe model looks dead.
ReplyDelete@00301febbc82b081d4ea2e0da7f34f09:disqus , I love the idea of doing a Flashback Friday with one of my white bottoms, thanks for the idea!
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is so so adorable! I don't know if you've done this before J, but I would love to see your closet and get tips on how you keep everything organized (since it seems like you have lots of clothes to keep track of!)
