Thursday was such an exciting day! We shot the first episode of J's Everyday Fashion - The Show! My first "style seeker" was Colleen, who is a Yelp Community Manager and needs outfits for her unique job. She also has a habit of wearing only dresses, so I made it my mission to teach her how to wear separates by the end of the day. We did a closet consultation, went shopping at Stella Luca (where I'm standing in the photo) and then back to her house to make tons of new outfits with the items we bought. It was amazing to see my vision come to life and I'm so grateful to IzonOrlando for believing in that vision. The episode should be available to watch online in a few weeks so stay tuned!

ReplyDeleteHey!
ReplyDeleteI really like what you do, matching your styles to the ones in magazines! I always find cute clothes in the magazines, but can never find the clothes myself to pull the style together! I love that idea that you can pull almost the same pieces to make it look very similar to the pictures! I would love to follow your blog! I am new to the blogging world, and am interning for White Haute Fashions. The company opened up about 8 months ago, and we are trying to make it a big thing! I would love it if you could stop by my blog, and let me know what you think! Feel free to make comments, and if you want to follow that would help a lot! Every little bit counts : )
Thanks a bunch!!

ReplyDeleteSo fun! Love your red dress here! Amazing!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the show! Those shoes are crazy cool.
ReplyDeleteWait, I remember a post about a show a while back. Is it a local show or something I would receive on NYC cable? Or will it be online somewhere? This is exciting for you! I can't wait to see or hear about it. :)
ReplyDeleteJuliette, you will be able to watch it online! I will post a link as soon as it's up! :-)
ReplyDeleteyayyy! lol
ReplyDeleteCongrats J!
ReplyDeleteI've been following for a short while and love to check in every day. I don't shop often but when I do I love it. But even if I'm not buying anything I still like to look for ideas for when I do. I'm going to start taking pictures with my phone of inspirations I see here and elsewhere as you suggested! Anyway, I love best that your items are within reach, budget wise. I hope you stay that way because that's why we follow. :) Congrats again and thanks!
Thanks Natalie! I promise this blog will always be budget-friendly. My goal is to become the Rachael Ray of fashion - relatable, everyday stuff that anyone can do! The idea behind the show is just another way to help/teach fashion on a budget to women who want to learn more. :-)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your new show- that is awesome! You look great btw, and I love your hair like that. Maybe a weird question but do you find you need to wear a slip with Forever 21 dresses? I have a few new ones I really like, but the fabric is pretty thin. I have a hard time finding a good undergarment that doesn't ride up or add a funny waist band lump. Do you know what I mean? Just wondered if you had an idea? Congrats again!
ReplyDeleteThanks Amy! This dress actually came with a second lining in it, but having a good slip can definitely come in handy for as thin as they usually make F21 dresses!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love those shoes. I want them!
